We at GLSV believe that the companies in our portfolio are working at the technological forefront of the life sciences. Therefore their technologies and products have the potential to revolutionize the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and human health care in general.

The approaches taken by some companies in our portfolio may include technologies that are still the subject of public debate, like the use of various forms of human stem cells and genetically engineered plants. This is also true for the development of a personalized medicine which may offer considerable benefits to the health of individuals but which also raises new bioethical issues.
